June Pearl Mary Gualdarama, 70, of Hilo died June 4 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Pahala, she was a homemaker and member of New Hope-Hilo. Visitation 3:45-5 p.m. Saturday (June 11) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 5 p.m. Graveside committal service at noon Monday (June 13) at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Casual attire. Survived by husband, Primitivo “Primo” Gualdarama of Hilo; sons, Raymond (Ranisha) Gualdarama of Ohio and John (Heather Fergerstrom) Gualdarama of Hilo; daughter, Primalynn “Prima” (Wallace) Bullard of Oahu; seven grandchildren; one uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. Hisako Hiraki, 96, of Hilo died June 1 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Kohala, she was a retired employee of Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. and kyodan member of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji. Visitation 2-3 p.m. Sunday (June 12) at Hilo Higashi Hongwanji. Itoe Miyazono, 95, of Hilo, formerly of Kurtistown, died May 15 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Olaa (Keaau), she was a retired cashier for KTA Super Stores in Hilo and member of Kurtistown Jodo Mission. Services held. Survived by sons, Roy Miyazono, Allen (Shirley) Miyazono, Jerry (Florence) Miyazono and Rodney Miyazono of Hilo; daughter, Linda (Jerome) Mina of Kualapuu, Molokai; son-in-law, Raymond Shimizu of Hilo; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins. Gilbert LeRoy Wallace, 79, of San Ramon, Calif., died April 30 in California. Born in Hilo, he was a retired electrician and member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 6 in San Francisco. Services held. Survived by wife, Linda Kehaulani Wallace of San Ramon; son, Gilbert L. (Karin) Wallace Jr. of San Ramon; daughter, Jeanne M. (Greg) Gesino of Phoenix; four grandchildren.
